About Us

Our story started in such a simple way: Cento Group’s main activity is people transportation, owning over 200 buses and minibuses, so in 2012 we decided to build some minibuses for our own fleet. The intention was to have the highest quality minibuses, by building them with a transport company perspective. Well, after we finished the first minibuses everything turned out into a business oportunity, so here we are today, building around 350 vehicles/year, with the same goal – high quality!
The production line was open in October 2012 and in 2018 we moved the production in a 4.000sqm. factory. Next step was to increase our capacity, so we opened in 2020 a new plant of 10.000 sqm.
During this period CENTO GROUP has been commercializing over 3.000 minibuses in several countries like Germany, France, Italy, Croatia, Iceland, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Belgium, Holland, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Romania etc.
In fact, over 80% of minibuses production, which is now around 350 vehicles/year, it’s intended for export. Together with our partners we presented our minibuses at the largest fairs in Europe: Bruxelles, Lyon, Köln, Hannover, Kortrijk, Wels, Leipzig, Rimini, Madrid, Athens etc. recording each time a lot of new orders through our European partners.

In 2014 we obtained accreditations for all the vehicles we produce, “European
Whole Vehicles Type Approval” issued by the prestigious international homologation institutes IDIADA and TUV, after some highly complex and detailed audits. Thanks to this accreditations, we issue a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for all variants of manufactured minibuses and midibuses!

The types of the variants and seats arrangements we produce are extremely diversified and covers all requirements in passengers transport business, also for vehicles with right hand wheel drive: from 8+1 seats, until 22+1+1 seats in case of minibuses and from27+1+1 until 31+1+1 seats thanks to the new Mercedes Cento Bus EVOLVE!
